Ms. Designer

Hello, my name is Ashley Miller, your Ms. Designer candidate for Habitat for Humanity. I was born and raised on a farm south of Hershey. Having grown up in a small community, it has given me the opportunity to experience small town values. My community and family have taught me from a young age that you always help your neighbor and lend a hand of support. My husband Jeremy and I have lived in the Hershey area for over 14 years and have been blessed with two boys, Keaton (11) and Kason (6). Aside from spending time with my family, I also enjoy being outside working in my yard, decorating, traveling, and of course shopping.

For the past six years, I have been blessed to be working as a designer for Carhart Kitchen and Bath. The favorite part of my job is getting to know my customers and helping them create the space of their dreams. The trends and products in the world of design are constantly changing which keeps my job exciting. As a little girl I always loved helping my mom and grandma decorate their houses. I can honestly say that I love what I do and I am always looking forward to my next project whether it is at work or at home!

 

While working at Carhart I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Habitat for Humanity on numerous houses. Working with Habitat for Humanity has helped me understand and appreciate their goal in strengthening family life by providing safe and affordable homes in North Platte. Habitat for Humanity is more than just building a house for a family it is supporting the foundation of our community.
